I just turned 20. I was living with my fiance for 3 years already. We broke up shortly after my birthday. He slept with my best friend. A theme that continues to this day. I’m now 53.
This was the day my father died. I was 18. He left my life when I was 3 only to come back when I was 14, then pass after a brief battle with cancer. That was one cold ass day.
I also lost my father on this day to leukemia – I was 5 1/2, my sister was 8 1/2. I don’t believe I’ve ever had the experience of looking at a photo created that day – thank you for this.
